And of the fullness – abundance of Christ, we have ALL received (emphasis on ALL).
The Amplified Bible puts it better. It says: For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after an- other and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.
There’s so much wealth in these scripture that I dare not allow the mediocrity of my words ruin it.
Jesus takes of His ‘Jesusness’, of his ‘Godness’, of His ‘mightiness’, His ‘sovereignty’, and gives unto us, so that we may never run out of grace, spiritual blessing, favour and gifts. Isn’t it just amazing to know that Jesus doesn’t hoard all the goodness; He freely gives it to YOU? Shouldn’t you do the same?
