"Adding color to history"
Just before bed last night, my husband helped to birth a new dream in me; ignited fresh fire, set me on a new pursuit. And my sleep was flooded with pictures of possibilities of what could be if I took to this new path. The thought of it makes my heart dance. Slowly but surely, my life is beginning to take on the image and form of the painting before my eyes; the painting made by God (for me) in His word.
I will not tell you just yet what this new risk- taking adventure is but be rest assured that I will unveil the goodies soon enough. Now that I have put it out there, I have also indirectly given myself a kick into pursuit mode. I receive grace to attain this goal in Jesus name.
I don’t know what has begun to transpire in your life since our Courage & Risk-Taking series concluded. But as God transitions you into one risk at a time, I’ll like you to begin to see opportunity (of each phase of your life) as God presenting you with a mug of crayons and saying to you, “Go on! Pick a crayon… add some color to your history.” 😃
Isn’t that just comforting to know that God intends for your future to be full of color and not doom. And that for every risk you take, the outcome is glory — a rainbow of aftereffects that give Him great pleasure.
So… what risks lay ahead of you today? Go on, add some color to your history. 😇
Shalom.
Philippians 2:13
For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
