My Day of Independence (so to speak)! Today marks a significant milestone in my history. On this day I took a bold step against the tides and walked upon water. I defied the seas and broke through its ginormous waves and emerged triumphant. I freed myself!
Fear could be a great lord and jailer and it kept me chained until I dared to confront it with its only antidote — boldness. Be bold and courageous, this is my charge to you today. There’s no mountain high enough that can keep you away from the love of God; love that loved you and died for you.
Arise! Be restless! And break that yoke off of your neck.
Be bold and courageous. This is my charge to every boy, every girl, every man, every woman who presently is held in bondage by anyone, aunt, uncle, friend, foe, employer, sponsor, the list goes on. Rise up, face the tides, walk on water, break out of bondage. You may fall seven times but the righteous will surely rise again! Be bold and courageous. For the Lord has gone before you.
Proverbs 6:5 Free yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler. - NIV
