Today’s post is a stand alone but definitely a continuation of the thought shared in the last 48 hours.
Psalm 42:1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, O God.
Why don’t you take out time this weekend to seek His face. You will be amazed what you’ll find…what He will show to you… Just say to Him… “Speak Lord, I’m listening…”
Go to Him and just bask in singing or in silence. Remember that He is asking you for a drink of water and that it is NOT water He seeks… rather it’s a relationship. Intimacy. A marriage supper with YOU!
Seek Him while He might be found.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Did you hear that? Don’t keep Him out there. Let Him in. It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been a christian. It is not commensurate to supping with the master. SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND.
Be warned. You can know His works and NOT know His ways. You can know His works and know His voice. You can know His works and know His face.
Seek Him like Moses sort Him. Seek to see His face beyond His works. Seek to hear His voice beyond seeing His hand.
Exodus 33:18 Then Moses said, “Now show me your glory.”
Seek Him today as the deer pants after the water brooks. Seek Him and you will find Him.
