"Long before Bruno Mars sang, girl, you’re amazing just the way you are, God himself, wrote you the most amazing love song.”
The Message translation puts it in a fantastic way. It says: You’re beautiful from head to toe, my dear love, beautiful beyond compare, absolutely flawless (Songs of Solomon 4:7). The maker of the heaven and the earth thinks, no, SAYS you’re beautiful, I mean in DDG (drop dead gorgeous) fashion and he’s TOTALLY in love with you, his heart beats faster when you sing and when you call his name, he has this really big God-smile on his face.
God loves you so so much that if you squeeze every drop of His love for you out, it will ll the heavens and the earth and there will be leftovers. If you can just catch a glimpse of this amazing love, you will never have any reason to worry yourself sick.
We will be completely unafraid if we understand that the all-powerful, unlimited God, who owns the whole earth, is crazy in love with us. You’ll be unafraid for your future, unconcerned about your past and con dent in the present. That’s why Paul said in Ephesians 1:18-19, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe (NIV). What’s even more powerful is that, nothing can ever separate us from this love. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, ^39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39, NIV).
I’d like you to know with all certainty that right here, right now, God loves you. He loves you enough to send the sun. He loves you enough to engrave your name on the palms of his hands. You are never out of his mind. There is no moment that his eye is ever off you or his attention distracted from you, and that’s the truth.
With God loving you like this, should you still be afraid for tomorrow, should you stare at your bank account with worry? There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear (1 John 4:18’ NIV).
