Bonjour,

A fews days before my birthday last month, I spent some time praying and fasting as is my custom during my birthday seasons. And the Lord says to me, “This is your season of the Reawakening…” And immediately, He brings to my remembrance Ephesians 5:14.Then like a sounding gong, I heard it loud and clear in my spirit – Awake O Sleeper! Rise from the dead…

Of course, as this was going on, I remembered quite vividly my BOKER TOV experience with the Lord last year. When He said “I Am the One Who Awakens!” Then I thought to myself, … now He is Reawakening…? I was a little puzzled at first. I pondered the word. He also reminds me of Ezekiel 37 (just like He had last year…) and my spirit truly began to rise…Still, I sort understanding.

I’ve been in lethargy for the past one year and a half. Going downhill as it were. And crying desperately to be revived; to feel the fire burning again, for my rivers to swell and overflow their banks like the great River Kishon… bringing me victory, battle after battle. Struggling with depression, fluctuations… it was crazy!

So I should be excited hearing the Lord saying to me that this was my season of the Reawakening. Yet, I craved to understand why it wasn’t just enough to be awakened. Why now a reawakening? What happened to the BOKER TOV experience?!

Understanding came to me yesterday as I spent time worshipping. The Holy Spirit brings to my mind the story in Genesis 18, about the three angels who visited Abraham near the great trees of Mamre. And here is what He reveals to me:

Genesis 18:10a

Then one of them said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”

You know the story. You know that the Lord had promised Abraham a son in Genesis 15, years before this very encounter. Hagar had happened. Ishmael had happened. Now, years later… one of the three angels says to Abraham (and Sarah), “I will surely RETURN…” Hallelujah!

When I had my BOKER TOV experience, it was an massive experience for me to hear the Lord say to me, I Am the One Who Awakens. But it didn’t make so much meaning to me until a year and a half later; after my season of lethargy and languidness, and barren activity, and dryness… That same word BOKER TOV returns to me a year and a half later, and truly I COME ALIVE. My life effuses meaning, gushes with purpose, and brims with new wine. WHY? Because the One Who Awakens RETURNS to me at an appointed time.

The mystery here is the “appointed time” for the Word to bear fruit. For the prophecy to come to pass. For Sarah to bear Isaac. For you to LIVE YOUR PURPOSE. Hallelujah!

No wonder He returns to me a one year after the last encounter to say to me “This is your season of the Reawakening…”

And I am saying to you now: after reading BOKER TOV, you may not feel like your life is any different. But hey, He will RETURN to you, this time next year, and you will bear fruit!”

He is the One who Returns to us. He is the One Who Reawakens us! Hallelujah!!

Be encourage. Drink up this word and thirst no more.
