God truly is in the picture...
Today, I just want to take a moment to send a postcard to God, and say, thank you Father... I do not ever want to go through life taking for granted the miracles He sends my way.. and just moments ago, at about 12midnight.. He did send me another miracle...
Whenever we deliberately say thank you to God, we raise an altar of memorial unto the Lord. We remember the Lord our God. We honor Him. We say, "this is You, not me!" So back to You be all the glory, honor, power, riches and wisdom. Hallelujah! So, remember I said I was in Lagos for a project, and that details about that would come much later. Well, here is a tinie tiny detail with a massive weight of importance. Somewhere along the line, I needed funds to deliver a major part of this project. And my next funding wasn't due for another 72 hours. I was stuck between canceling and sending every member of my crew home or...moving forward regardless. I chose the latter. I went into my hotel room, shut the door and turned my face to heaven. I know it sounds like the regular stuff but this wasn't regular for me because the amount of money needed to proceed with my work wasn't a figure I would call a 'regular' if you get what I mean. it was the kind of sum that people sort bank loans for. I laughed because I knew I was about to experience another show of the Hand of God. It was shades of gruesome headaches and courage wrestling to take center stage. I gave in to courage of course. I prayed, sang, hummed, danced even, did the quiet routine and later took a nap too. And for every moment, worry nudged and pulled at me, I swung my weight again towards courage. If at the end of the day (yesterday) nothing happened I would be forced to call off all plans and send the crew home. Then it was night and my eyes were heavy. I told myself I would sleep and let God work in my sleep. I was just beginning to dose off when I got a message that we had found someone willing to loan us the sum until our expected funds arrived. And at past 12 midnight, after a brief meeting, the Lord had sent help from Zion, provision was made. It wasn't anything I did or anyone I called for that matter. I mean there was no one to call, not even a bank manager, lol. It was purely the bountiful graciousness of God. It is past 3am now, I just had to send this postcard before going to bed. God is a good God. Join me in praising the Lord. My heart is full of thanks! And won't you think of something God has done for you lately? Say thank you Lord. Send a postcard Heavenward.
Selah!
