In the days leading up to Christmas, my husband and I took stock of everything we were grateful for in 2018 and the list was incredibly rich with unforgettable imprints of God’s goodness. Today, I will like to thank YOU for your unrelenting participation in testifying that God rules in the affairs of men. It is an honor to serve you through this platform and I do not take it lightly. I’ll also like to specially thank those who write in every now and then to attest to God’s workings in their everyday living.
When I look at 2018, I see footprints of YHWH. I see times He visited. I see places He’s been to in my life. I see areas He’s touched. I see where His scent lingers. And other areas His breath revivified. I see His indelible footprints throughout my life in 2018. An evidence that testifies to the fact that I was never alone.
I do know that the temptation at that time of the year usually is to gloat. Gloat over what is missing, what we could have had that is lacking, what could have done and we missed out, where we could have been that is pending. However, if we honestly took a moment to count our blessings, we would see the relentless, persistent footprints of YHWH.
Therefore, in this year 2019, I want to encourage you deeply to LET GOD. Let God lead you. Let God take you by the hand and lead you in the pastures He has prepared for you. Let God help you. As you cannot go it alone. Let God show you. For He is your light shinning through this dark world. Let God shape you. He can mold you right if you let Him. Let God take full control. Let go of the reins.
