He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
What does that phrase mean?
Most times we think it is Scripture telling us who God is. Yes, that is true.
What is also true is this…
It is your journey in God telling you who God is..
It is the victories you have encountered in His name
It is the shelter that you have under His wings
It is the battles that He fought when you were helpless
It is prayers answered
It is in growth, mileage, increase gained
It is in healthy bones, and length of days filled with good things
Have you been observant enough to make notes of your testimonies?
Do you write it down so that your children may read of His everlasting faithfulness?
And like Isaac and Jacob say to their generation, “The God of my fathers is my God…”
That they may run a good race, and fight the good fight!
Are there archives of God’s greatness stacked up in your library?
Do you have sweet memories of His salvation lodged in the crevices of your soul?
Written on the tablets of your heart,
Bound around your neck,
Worn like bracelets around your wrist,
Can you boldly declare because of the dealings in your life,
That the Ancient One is the same yesterday, today and forever?
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.
