What are your ember musings? Release the hurt of the past, usher in the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
Bonjour,
It's great to be back!! I wasn't going to miss the first day of December for anything. Wow, I've missed you all sorely and I am so grateful to be back here writing to you today. Ember months are special months for me. The first ember month happens to be my birth month and then two of my siblings have their birthdays in November and December... then there is the holiday season, my wedding anniversary and the globally celebrated December 31st that ushers in the New year as well as my beloved mother's birthday. What are your sweet ember musings? Count your blessings, name the high points of 2017. Let your heart well up with thanksgiving. Make plans to be joyful. Release the hurt of the past, usher in the peace of God and the promise of a brighter tomorrow. This morning as Kari Jobe's The Garden serenaded my early moments... I suddenly realised how light I felt. And how that hurts that once burned inside of me many months back were now no more. And how tight knots of resentment had loosened and melted away just like cancer dissolves in the face of God's fiery healing. And I didn't even know when He did it or how He did. Tears rolled down my cheeks as gratitude spilled out of my heart in words and songs.
What are your ember musings? If its pain and resentment, release them and let God do His magic of healing and mending. And I tell you, you won't even know when or how He does it. You will just find that your December turned out much better than you expected. 1 Peter 5:7
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
