We are moving

We live in dangerous times. Times where princes walk while their servants ride on horses. Times where what you see is more than what it seems. Times when wolves mask in sheep’s clothing and lies are coated with sugar and sold in cookie jars.

Daily our hearts are being pawned to the highest bidder. We are lured by scintillating philosophies that twist our reasoning all in the bid to confuse and to control us. So they battle for our minds, to sow seeds that will corrupt and ruin.

Therefore be careful how you hear; be careful that the information you let into your heart is one that will blossom and grow a fruitful garden. Be careful that you do not allow words that will spring into a baobab tree, who with its merciless roots, will infest into your dear heart all kinds of evil like it did to the little prince’s planet.*

Also be careful what you hear, choose carefully who and what you incline your ears to. Choose wisdom and you choose life, choose folly and simplicity and be led to a slaughter house like the foolish youth in the book of Proverbs.

I took these last 14 days off to consider how and what I was hearing. I did that because I wanted to be sure I was channeling a lively stream — truth and not lies. Here at The River Course, we are moving to the place where Wisdom resides.

Proverbs 1:5

A wise man will hear and increase in learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel. — NKJV

Luke 8:18

So pay attention to how you hear. To those who listen to my teaching, more understanding will be given. But for those who are not listening, even what they think they understand will be taken away from them. — NLT

Mark 4:24

Pay close attention to what you hear. The closer you listen, the more understanding you will be given — and you will receive even more. — NLT
