In the coming weeks, or days (can’t say for how long) we will be revisiting some of my back issues. Someone recently called my writing , ’Basic Writing.’ I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. My first instinct was to shut down this mailing list completely. I thought, what the hell. Why should I be bugging people’s inboxes with my basic writing? Then I started to go through my past issues and then I stumbled upon “The Unseen Miracle.” I Immediately burst out crying. My basic writing spoke to me. It touched me somewhere in my heart. Somewhere that said basic or not I will not give up on the manner in which the words flow out of my being. At least that is one thing no one can take away from me. Also it said to me - Bukkie keeping doing your basic writing. It is not your business how it all adds up to become premium or how basic can give life. When Jesus was here with us, he wasn’t a super star. He was just Jesus the carpenter’s son. So basic or not, I am not going to give up on what I do. Selah. For you: Guard your heart. Because at some very crucial times the jab will come from those you least expect. There is an unseen miracle ongoing inside of you and the unseen worker is the same one who crafted the stars, the seasons as well as your existence. So be encouraged (to say the least).
