A month for intercession I sense that in this month of March God is calling us Sisters to be our “sister’s keeper.” God is calling us to intercession for our sisters who struggle and He is saying, “Lift up those hands that hang down. Strengthen the feeble knees. Make straight the crooked paths…”
Don’t forget this is the year for sisters and the “Sisterhood Connection” … This is the year that the Lord exalts the daughters of Zion, and He liberates and breaks free from bondage all women who are in captivity.
Little wonder, in this month of March He is nudging us to be our sister’s keeper. How? You may ask… Make a few more phone calls this month to your sister connections; friends, cousins, besties, mothers, former colleagues. Ha, I even sense that in this month God will be restoring broken sisters — i.e. broken relationships among sisters. Oh! …and I just heard, even “broken sisters”… sisters who have had broken relationships, and sour relationships and have endured abusive relationships. I hear God say, the time to be FREE is NOW!
And He is sending other sisters to do the mending and restoring. Hallelujah. So, ladies gear up, brace up, get ready! Make yourself available to be used this month of March.
It is a time for prayers and intercessions and meditations on the word of God. God is going to be speaking to you about your sister connections and giving you messages of hope. So be on the alert! Call them by name and intercede for each one that the Lord impresses upon your heart.
Remember the ones you have fallen out of love with and call them by name in the place of prayer. God is going to heal broken friendships among sisters this March. I look forward to reading testimonies from you. So, please remember to send a text, a mail to share how God restored a long shattered relationship. Or how He closed the gorge between two friends you thought would never speak to each other again.
I will like you to take a step of faith today and make a list of all your sister connections. And then begin a prayer journal… and start to have communion with God and pray about each one of them. Pray for those trusting God for a child, pray for the pregnant ones, pray for the ones who have gone cold, pray for the sickly ones, pray for those who are struggling, pray for those trusting God for a life partner etc. Write each prayer point down in your prayer journal and dedicate at least a page to each sister. And pray fervently (not necessarily lengthy prayers!).
Also, please feel free to send prayer requests to therivercourse@gmail.com. Tomorrow I will share a few testimonies from my prayer journal. And interestingly most of them have to do with sisters! This would encourage you to begin your prayer journal. Can’t wait to share! :).
This is going to be a great month! Hallelujah!
Hebrews 12-13 Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. Make level paths for your feet, so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
